P2P

I think file sharing has become very popular recently especially between younger population. When someone sends their friends or coworkers a file through different platforms they basically have participated in P2P sharing. P2P stands for peers to peers, which depending on the file can be unethical sometimes. For example, if someone has bought a movie on the internet and then share it with their friends it becomes unethical and illegal.

However, P2P can be beneficial to everyone as well. If it is a text that you have written and you just want one of your friends to take a look at it, file sharing will definitely save you a lot of time. P2P created such companies as Lending Club and Prosper. They have been successfully helping people to lend their funds to other people and avoid paying a higher percentage on the loan to the bank (Kaufman).

Students have to sumit file through online for assignments professors assign. File sharing is also a mendetory thing while working since we do not print out every single documents these days. Yet, as you wrote P2P between users shares illegal files that shouln’t be shared and can’t be caught.
